As a newborn photographer safety is the most important factor. Photography By Heather Lane provides a very safe environment and experience for your baby. We have done multiple training courses and have went through many hours of newborn education. We highly believe an assistant is necessary for every newborn session.. We have an assistant who is trained in newborn safety and is present for your babys session.

* Delivered gallery image amount is based on how the session goes day of. If needed we will schedule an additional day for you to come in to get the shots you want if baby is unable to sleep well. Full price reflects the photographers and assistants time during the booked hours. If baby does not sleep well during one or both sessions image amount may be less than what is stated in the amount above.
While we understand there are rare circumstances a baby may have trouble sleeping - in the event we do have trouble we can not guarantee the max amount of images as stated above.
We believe editing should be very subtle... this includes retouching of babys skin etc.
We do not do any overediting of babies skin to preserve their natural features.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are designed to really capture
all the little details of baby. This is an un-posed , no fuss session.
We allow baby to be happy in their own element.
No requirements of sleep etc.
All the best images will be edited and delivered via an online digital gallery.
This session will last around 1 hour in studio.

Whether you want simplistic newborn pictures or elaborate sets we have you covered! We have over 60+ props to choose from that can be paired with our many furs and layers. We provide all outfits for the POSED/DELUXE newborn sessions as well.
MILESTONE SESSIONS
Milestone sessions are typically the photos done between the newborn and cake smash sessions. They are minimalistic sets just to help capture your babys growth and his/her special milestones!
What age do we offer milestones?
3 , 6 , 9 , & 12 months
If you want to skip the cake and just have a milestone captured we can absolutely do so!

It's no surprise we LOVE custom sessions and cake smashes. We customize every
set right down to the colors desired. WE ARE A ONE-STOP-SHOP!! We have a huge storage room full of custom props for every kind of session. However, we can create ANY set up necessary. The sky is the limit! Message us today to get your cake smash scheduled. Normally we do cake smashes when baby turns 11 months old. This is just to ensure you will receive your images prior to your babys first birthday.
